WOW, really great post! It sounds like Substack has become a partner in your writing and healing journeys. Great insight about FB's "broken algorithm"! I feel that. With all the possibilities out there, what made you ultimately choose Substack as your platform over others?

I tried to answer your question on the live chat, but I should answer it here too. 8^P

Bottom line: Substack's policy of content creators owning their content was the big thing to me. Honestly, I didn't look around at many other options for a place to write. Once I realized this platform had more functional bells and whistles than I'll likely need any time soon, I just kinda dove in.

After a few months I can say I plan to stay here because this simply feels like the right place. :)

Well, it's probably best that you didn't spend too much time "shopping around" and that you found the right platform for you quickly. More time to write. 👍Sometimes I think the vast amount of options out there can be overwhelming.
