2025 in a Nutshell - "I Learned"
“I Learned”
If someone asked me: “What did you do in 2025?” I would say: I learned.
I learned I could be consistent with one thing of my own every week for one solid year.
I made a promise and kept it, 52 weeks in a row.
I wrote the first 5 chapters of my first book.
I published 56 articles and more than 100,000 words.
…and I learned my story can help people.
I learned I could burn out writing notes about burnout.
I learned my dear readers are a resilient bunch.
I learned my writing can make people laugh.
I learned it could make some cry.
I learned how to write better.
I learned that writing for you, my dear reader, is a responsibility to take seriously.
After all that, it feels like the healing journey is what really matters.
I learned I need to protect my priorities and seek alignment.
I learned I can do both, and help others figure it out too.
I poured a foundation,
and you, dear reader, helped pour it.
Thank you for reading.
Here’s to 2026!
Dear Reader,
This year has been quite a ride. I look forward to seeing where this journey leads in the next. :)
I wish you and yours the best in 2026.
Happy New Year!
Yours, along the road From War to Writing,
- Terry 8^)

This is beautiful, Terry. As long as you learned, you won :) Happy New Year!
